Experience in Energy/Utilities Research

Field Research Corporation has had extensive experience in undertaking studies for a wide variety of clients in the energy industry, including public utilities, government agencies and private, for-profit firms.

In earlier years, much of this research focused on three aspects: service, satisfaction, and rate issues.

Later, many studies were conducted to assess awareness, knowledge and attitudes in the (then) newly emerging climate of concern about the environment, nuclear power, pollution and energy development.

Beginning in the 1980s, much of our work focused on measuring participation in and response to various programs aimed at energy conservation and load management.

More recently, the advent of competition has served to raise new issues for research with a renewed focus on measuring customer needs, satisfaction, loyalty and perceptions of the energy industry and specific utilities.
